Returning Varsity Profiles

Tyler Paluck         6’5”

Senior

Forward

Tyler’s a senior leader who has great offensive skills.  As a sophomore, he shot 46% from 3 pt. range, 56% from 2 pt. range, and 73% from the free throw line.  His high game of 23 pts., came against league foe Heritage.  Tyler’s junior season was cut short because of an injury, so he’s anxious to make the most of his final year at Skyview.  Tyler’s also a member of our student government team.  Perry and Susan Paluck are Ty’s parents.

Sam Perry

5’9”

Senior

Guard

Sam’s worked very hard throughout the summer to prepare for his senior season at Skyview.  He joined the varsity midway through last season and made an immediate impact as a scorer.  Known as a great shooter, he’s made great strides improving his defensive ability as well as his ball handling skills.  His ability to take the ball to the basket makes his offensive game more complete.  His parents are Dale and Betty Perry.

Dallin Shirley

6”2”

Senior

Forward

Strength and aggressive play highlight Dallin’s contribution to the 09-10 Storm basketball team.   As one of the strongest players in the league, this quality allows Dallin to play much bigger than his 6’2” height.  His defensive ability and rebounding will be key to our success this season.  He won our “Hustle Award” for the 08-09 season.   Dallin’s a three sport athlete, also competing in football and track.  He’s also a member of our student government team.  Kevin and Jacqueline Shirley are Dallin’s  parents

Jordan Chatman

6”3”

Sophomore

Guard

Jordan faced varsity competition as a freshman during the 08-09 season.  This experience should be a great benefit to his confidence and production this season.  He’s our most solid ball handler, and takes over as our point guard.   Jordan’s decision making skills and ability as a shooter are key to the team’s success.   Jordan is a committed athlete and one of our hardest workers.  Jeff and Leah Chatman are Jordan’s parents.

Adam Brown

6”

Senior

Guard/Forward

Adam will begin his second season on the Skyview varsity.  Watching Adam play basketball, it’s easy to see that hard work and strong, aggressive play are Adam’s style.   His ability to get out on the fast break and take the ball to the basket are valuable tools in Adam’s offensive game.  He will play both guard and forward for the Storm.  Adam is a three sport athlete, also competing in football and track.  Stephen and Cynthia Brown are Adam’s  parents.
