The Science Educators of The Vancouver School District have developed a curriculum designed to assist in the development of scientific literacy and serve as a strong foundation in the further study of mathematics, science and technology. VSD Science classes embrace the hands-on and minds-on approach, reflecting our belief that laboratory investigations and research play a strong role in the learning process. Students are provided with a wide variety of experimental opportunities which establishes a broad foundation for Science investigations and further study. Our goal is to provide students with the knowledge and skills that will enable them to better understand and appreciate our rapidly changing world.
