Read several sources to familiarize yourself with the hot topics in optics. Talk several times with the instructor about possible topics. You might consider working in pairs on a project. Some possible topics are listed below. Past projects are posted on the Project Pit page of the website. The proposal abstracts are due on TBA. The Symposium for Parents is Saturday, TBA. Please plan ahead and make sure there are no conflicts with sports or other travel.
Write your proposals below and the instructor will comment on them. In order to avoid much duplication of ideas, the first person proposing a particular topic will have priority on that idea. Though pairs of students may work together on a project, each and every person should detail an idea here by TBA.
