Nuclear Power

Student teams will create "Time" like magazines featuring the theme "Nuclear Power". This assignment will require researching nuclear energy issues using reference and electronic resources.

Outcomes: Students will research and report one facet of the nuclear power issue. The magazine editorial team will debate the pros and cons of nuclear power and come to a written conclusion about its merit. Editors will assume repsonsibilty for the publishing of the magazine.

Tasks: Your editorial team will consist of 4 to 6 persons. Each person will select one of the article topics to research and report. Your report will include a background section explaining the topic in lay terms. The report will include of all sides of the topic selected and documentation of the information. You will assess and interpret the information. Your final paragraph should include a conclusion based on the information you have included.
